Gone are the days of any provider being able to undercut BT by 40%. The market has changed dramatically over the last few years, and whilst cost is still important, the quality of service has become the major difference between providers.
There are many tariffs on the market, from simple to understand pence per minute rates, through to capped rate tariff plans. In our opinion, the simple flat rate tariff remains the best choice for most UK businesses. Why?
Fact: Call Costs
Our standard rate is much lower than BT's Business Rates on either their standard, or tailored tariifs" hence you will save money.
Fact: Call Duration
We have carried hundreds of millions of minutes of calls for our customers. Along with our data, it is widely acknowledged that 90% of business calls are less than 3 minutes. The average duration is less than 2 minutes. With this data in mind, capped rate tariff's simply don't offer most businesses the best value.
Fact: Set Up Charges
Whilst BT offer capped rate tariffs, you will be penalised for every short call you make, which will make your overall bill increase. They will charge you 7p for just connecting a mobile call.......we do not.
Fact: Minimum Contract Period
If we take over your line service, and carry your calls, we only ask for a rolling 30 day contract. BT ask for a minimum of 12 months.
Fact: Spend Threshold
BT have minimum annual spend commitments, which if you don't reach, will invoke penalties if not reached. We do not.....spend as little, or as much as you want.
