IntraLAN has been working with Microsoft networks for all its 12 years and you can confidently assume as Gold Partners we have a strong technical grounding! So it's probably more helpful to set out our particular areas of expertise (and areas we don't aspire to provide).
Specialties:
- SBS: Reflecting a popular/obvious choice for SMEs, around 50% of our supported networks use SBS 2003 Standard or Premium
- Wide Area Networks (WAN): The other key area are multi-site organisations, e.g. high street retailers (shops), corporates with numerous home-workers and construction firms. This is a natural niche given our skills in CISCO, Zyxell and our private VPN/ISP services (including DSL, leased and EPS9 lines)
- Firewalls: With such a focus on WANs, it's imperative we are strong in firewalls
- Network resilience: From simple dual Internet lines with auto-failover across two different carriers to full server replication (Business Continuum) to multiple instances of Exchange server to ensure "bullet-proof" email systems.
- VoIP: For reasons that should now be getting obvious(!), a natural extension of our skills + telephony services is the provision of ( VoIP) services.
Otherwise, you should assume that we can install and support all the Microsoft software suite suitable for the SME (10-250 PC) businesses. We will also happily integrate Unix servers and MAC workstations (connect to Outlook etc).
Areas we don't support:
- Web development (we lack the "artistic flair");
- Full SQL development (different kind of business), although we frequently "upsize" existing Access databases to improve performance and stability;
- Video Conferencing - we have a business partner we have (increasingly in this carbon-footprint conscious age) worked with;
- Non-Microsoft servers (although we will connect to most of them).
