BlackBerry® is a leading wireless connectivity solution providing access to a wide range of applications and e-mail to empower your mobile workforce. Using 'push' technology, e-mail is delivered directly to a user's handheld device, so there is never a need to dial in, and synchronises automatically with their PC.
Combining award winning devices, software and support, the BlackBerry solution is available either as an internet based Web Client or server based Enterprise version, the latter supporting and integrating seamlessly with existing corporate systems and e-mail accounts. IT departments retain centralised control, whilst many administrative tasks, including activation and upgrades can be deployed over the air. By utilising the Mobile Data System, it is also possible to mobilise web services and other applications, enabling enhanced productivity and efficiency as well as increasing return on investment.
BlackBerry handheld devices feature integral phones, secure mobile email access, internet browser, SMS and personal information management tools, with the choice of a full QWERTY keyboard or SureType technology. A number of compatible devices are available, such as certain Xdas and Nokias, which can also utilise BlackBerry connectivity for e-mail.
